While the fact that 'Trapmaker 2' does show a plaque showing she’s been head detective since 2014 which would be impossible if she was in her early 30s, that is most likely a reference to the first Kate Gray game which was released in 2014. Kate is presumably in her early 30s as it is mentioned that she’s been in the police force for 10+ years. Her hair was kept in two braids with a green hair tie. In her passport picture, Kate wore a green and golden gradient eyeshadow and bright pink lipstick. It was mentioned that Kate had a very different style when she was a teenager. She mentions that she wishes she had worn heels after not being able to reach something on a high shelf, implying that her regular footwear are heels. In The Echo Bay Murders, Kate wore a black leather jacket, a white tank top, dark green cargo pants, and brown boots. She also wore a gold necklace with a floral design. Her choice of footwear was a pair of blue heels which were shown in the cycling minigame and also mentioned after her and Murphy hiked. In Picture Perfect, she wore a blue top with umbrella sleeves and a pair of black leggings. She occasionally wore sunglasses, though most of the time they were just hanging in the middle of her shirt and she also wore a blue pearl necklace. In Paradise Mystery, Kate wore a sleeveless white button-up top and a pair of denim shorts. This time around, she also wore her badge as a form of a necklace. In the first two games, Kate had long auburn hair that reached her waist and green eyes. Kate's physical appearance has differed throughout games to games.
